Just as the summer temperatures are about to rise, Demi Lovato is offering up a book to add to your beach reading list. The singer/actress/reality TV judge has plans to drop her self-titled e-book for iBooks on June 11, just in time for your summer vacation.
But, this isn't any old book. It's a multi-format e-book designed to act as a companion to her just-released album of the same name, Demi. It will include unreleased videos and photos, a foreword from her pal Ryan Seacrest and lots of behind-the-scenes materials that any Lovatic would love to get their hands on.
And if you're excited about it, so is Demi, who tweeted out the pre-order link on Wednesday and used a lot of exclamation points to punctuate her enthusiasm for the release.
Demi is about to embark on a whirlwind summer that will not only include the release of this book, but also a handful of live performances, the release of her follow-up single to "Heart Attack," filming the third season of "X Factor" and, unfortunately, getting her tonsils out.
And, while that last part seems like the worst way to spend the dog days of summer, the multi-hyphenate performer recently dished to MTV News that she's got a fierce game plan for her recovery. She teased, "I'm gonna do it without painkillers, though, 'cause I'm a boss. I say that now!"
