On the issue  Winter 2013/2014  from Annex Man we can admire Ian Somerhalder buff arms on the cover of magazine.  The 35-year-old actor opened up to the magazine  about his fashion sense and secrets  and said :

“For day to day looks, my style is themed around effortless comfort. I’ll often hear ‘Beauty is pain’ and that couldn’t be further from the truth for me! If I enjoy the texture and I connect with the story behind the piece–be it sustainable harvesting, manufacturing,distribution or a “giving back” component from that company, I will feel confident and comfortable wearing that item. But face it, I’m a dudes-dude who likes easy comfortable jeans and t-shirts to keep an otherwise and increasing more-complex world a bit simpler…”

Being on the People’s magazine annual “Sexiest Man Alive” issue, Ian Somerhalder is looking pretty damn good I must say on the cover of Annex Man magazine.

Ian  gave Annex Man an interview where he talked about everything from philosophy to fashion sense, proving once again that Ian is basically the polar opposite of Damon Salvatore.

When Ian Somerhalder covers Annex Man magazine it’s a real blessing to all us the ladies, but he isn’t just abs, arms and good looks; asked what he does in his little free time, he amazed us with his answer:

“Immersed in the worn pages of philosophy or a great work of fiction, taking in the hum of crickets and wilderness, and surrounded by the people I love. Simple joys in this life we tend to forget are even there. Taking a minute to leave the office or the studio for a stroll on a brisk fall day or a warm summer one really can work wonders. I find myself, just like the rest of us, trying to find that healthy balance. I’m no busier than anyone else. The 21st century is going to be an interesting time for humanity. My hope is that while taking that stroll, having a conversation with a friend at a coffee shop gazing out the window we realize one thing: We need nature —whether it’s for those worn book pages or those leaves blowing in the clean air we breathe.”

Above all this questions about his spare time and fashion sense, Ian talked about the TV show “The Vampire Diaries”. He said for the episode 100 that he is really grateful to be part of such team and he is glad that the series is well received by people.

“When you get involved in a project hoping that it will last and flourish but I never thought the show would be so successful. I am proud to be a part of this project. “

And the next one is for the Delena (Damon and Elena) fans, asked what is going to happen with them Ian said:

“Time solves all as in any relationship, but maybe Damon should meet with women of his age. There isn’t a dating site  in the bar of Mystic Falls for men over 150 years? ”
